I wrote this after posting the above, to clear the air to all who might have been witness to the above exchange.

Folks, there was a misunderstanding between webchick and me on this channel about three hours ago. She posted about it on my blog, and I just responded. You can see it at http://tomgeller.com/content/problem-drupal-documentation#comment-283 . I'm mentioning this here because some of you may have been here, and I don't know what was said after I left.

I'm sorry to both her and to anyone else who interpreted what I said to mean that I wanted to circumvent a license. That absolutely wasn't (and isn't) the case, but I was overly glib and chose my words poorly, and completely understand why she came to that conclusion.
