I'm excited to see that people are inspired by documentation enough to rant about. Now I look forward to seeing that energy flipped around and made into a wish list and a vision for what documentation could look like.
My grandpappy used to have a saying, "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem." It's really easy to moan about all the things that are wrong. But if we all do ONE thing different and all pitch in our ONE commitment to a solution, we'll be 200,000 steps closer to a system that works for each of us. Good writing is hard work, good editing is hard work, and good visions are hard to come by.
Blog your vision for success, get excited about it and others will join you...but perhaps most importantly you'll see how many more people there are who are already working on these tough problems. Roll up your sleeves and start blogging about the ONE next step you'll take to help Drupal be even more awesome!
And if you're on IRC drop by the #drupal-docs and see some of the things people are already engaged in, excited about, and working on!
