I see problems that can be fixed, I have the requisite skills to do something about it, and I even use that edit tab... but the changes I'm able to make are but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of what's wrong with the drupal.org handbooks. The main problems are structural, and you can't fix structural problems a page at a time. That's why we need someone like add1sun, with the resources (yay!) and vision to decide on broad-based organizational changes. I think she'll have plenty of worker bees willing to hit that edit tab whenever she says the word.
